What are your top 3 favorite destinations and why?
Lo amo l’Italia! Italy exudes beauty through its rich history, art, landscape, people and the food food food! It breathes life into your soul.
Israel invokes a sense of awe as you traverse from the desert through the countryside to the hills of Galilee, understanding the significance of events that have shaped history and our world today. Hospitality comes to life feeding both the belly and the spirit. (Again…the food!)
Southern California offers a sense of freedom. The world melts away as the deserts call the explorer to push forward and heighten their senses to the life that appears to be hidden. The head clears and one can become introspective, pondering beauty and meaning without distraction. Plus, the balloon rides are breathtaking as you dip down into the vineyards in the early morning midst.
What is your most memorable experience?
My first trip to Milan offered experiences that overwhelmed me to the point of tears – the Duomo, La Scala Theater, Da Vinci’s Last Supper fresco. I experienced the power of art, architecture, and performance to bring beauty into this world and convey a deeper meaning to life.
What is your top travel tip?
When traveling to a new city, take the “Hop On Hop Off Bus” on the first day to get a sense of the city. This will allow you to determine where you want to spend more time in the days that follow or on another trip.”
