My love of travel and the enjoyment I receive from planning trips for my family and friends led to the creation of Vai Travel in 2007. Since then, we have expanded our reach and serve both leisure and corporate travelers around the globe. Where It All Started
I took my first international trip at nine years of age and I was hooked! I loved everything about the experience – checking in at the airport, exploring the aircraft (it was a Boeing 747 with an upper deck), and of course, the vacation itself. While I may not have guessed it at the time, that trip was the impetus for my career in the travel industry.
The Places That Capture My Soul
If I had to choose my top destinations, they would be Italy, where I live, and Greece, my ancestral home. These destinations have it all – rich history and culture, wonderful food scene, breathtaking landscapes and beaches, lovely villages and vibrant cities, and warm welcoming locals. Paring these destinations with wellness travel is the perfect vacation experience!
Tomorrow's Travel, Today: The Vai Vision
We remain committed to the customer experience. We invest in our travel advisors, through education, training, and familiarization trips, and we invest in technology to augment – but not to replace – the personal touch. We consistently monitor trends and establish partnerships with local suppliers to ensure our clients are well cared for when traveling. We established an office in Italy several years ago so that we have staff that are closer to our clients (geographically and in a similar time zone) when traveling throughout Europe and Africa.
